Wider Workhow we support our community
In the media
As a nationally recognised organisation who supports women and girls to escape violence, we are dedicated to sharing our work as widely as possible.
A lot of our efforts are focused on the media, because we believe in the importance of raising awareness of violence against women who are from black and ethnic minority communities.
Our Chief Executive, directors and service users have been involved in several radio stations and shows, TV interviews and news stories, discussing issues around child sexual exploitation, domestic violence, forced marriage, and shame and honour.
Below are some examples of Apna Haq on the radio, TV or in the news.
